Instagram has introduced a significant update, allowing users to directly download Instagram Reels to their devices. This eliminates the need for third-party apps or external websites to save videos or reels. However, there's a catch – downloaded reels may include an Instagram watermark along with the account name.
Downloading reels on Instagram is a straightforward process. Click on the share button, and at the bottom, you'll find the download icon. Click on it, and the reels will be saved to your device.
For those concerned about privacy, Instagram offers a solution. You can disable the download feature by following these steps:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Click on Privacy.
3. Select Reels and Remix.
4. Turn off the switch to "allow people to download the reels."
Additionally, if you're worried about licensed music, downloaded reels come without audio.
